SUCCESSFUL STORIES
Our child protection programme has changed children’s attitudes towards each other, on the 16 February 2022, we introduced a programme which protects from bullying. We have received testimonies concerning this programme. One of the mothers called Life matters foundation to say her child who was a victim of cyberbullying has regain confidence and the bully has stopped bullying other children.
On 11 December 2021, we had a teenage pregnancy awareness programme( this is a consecutive programme, where there are call centers to assist with teenagers who are far) to assist every teenage girl on how to continue with life on that situation and decreasing the number of suicidal and abortion thoughts.
The first week of march, marks the beginning of child protection week, children have been protected from illiteracy through the literacy programme and remedial classes. Best volunteers who are qualified teachers were employed in our foundation in that week.
On the 20 of March, the grade sevens found in our surrounding communities had a camp in our halls, reason being to cultivate a safe space where learners are able to share their pain. 60% of students on that day were assisted on how to deal with neglect from their guardians.
